I've actually been hearing this stupid song on the radio recently. And to make things even worse, this stupid band is apparently playing a show in town sometime soon, so they're playing the CRAP out of this thing. Seriously, I hear maybe 20 minutes of radio a day (10 minutes to work, 10 minutes home - more on work in a bit...) and every single time I hear at least a snippet of this freaking thing.

Contender for most annoying song in a commercial EVER
So there's this commercial for some crappy beer or whatever, and it has this douchetard wandering through this high fallutin party acting like he owns the place. I'm sure you know what ad I'm talking about. Anyway, it has this fucking song playing along with it that just sucks so many balls it defies comprehension. Then, all of a sudden, the climax of the commercial is Sir D jumping onstage with the performers of said annoying song.
I thought I hated the song enough on its own, but for some reason seeing the band actually playing it made me want to destroy villages and eat the wounded. Seriously, the song is bad enough. It's really fucking bad. And the worst part is this ad is on every channel every time I turn on the freaking tv.
The band is The Asteroids Galaxy Tour. Yeah, that's their stupid name. And they're from Sweden or Denmark or whatever. Not that that in and of itself is reason to hate them. Not at all. Some of my favorite bands of all time are from Sweden or Denmark or whatever. But for some reason hearing this band from Sweden or Denmark or wherever singing in that nasally whiney make-me-want-to-punch-golfers voice just makes it worse for some reason. I can't explain it.
The song I think is called The Golden Age. If you don't know it, go ahead and YouTube it or something. I wouldn't, but just so you have a point of reference. So bad. So very, very bad.
